5 Years...Dreaming, Trying & Living The Reality

Today, the 26th day of February in the year of our Lord 2014 marks my fifth year out here in the city of angels. Each year I'm always learning new things and meeting new people in this crazy industry I work in. I always think, "Oh I've been there done that," but something new arises and I'm grateful to be put in positions where I'm continuously learning. 

This year I have made the decision to hang up the Production Assistant role and pursue Production Coordinating full time. So no more AD set PAing or Office PAing for me. I will also be taking more time to work on personal short film projects as well. I continue to put off my creative thoughts and I've decided that has to stop. So expect to see something this year. 

I look forward to the next 5 years to see what may come my way. This has been a great learning experience and I'm glad I made the move to come out here and at least try...try to see if I was capable, try to see if I was worthy, try to see a dream become a reality. 

To all the Directors, Producers, Production Managers, Production Coordinators, ADs, fellow PA brothers and additional crew that have given me advice you know who you are and I THANK YOU. To my cousin, Jil, you are the main reason why I came out here I thank you for  your words and advice along the way on a professional and personal level. To my girlfriend, Jackie, I thank you for the support and encouragement you give me. To my Parents thank you for allowing me to be a big boy and make the move. I appreciate the love you (and my brother) send me. Last thank you God, I believe in you and I see you believe in me cause I'm blessed to be in this position.
