That sh*t cray... oh no its Kray...Wait? *My Thoughts
So I saw this post about what “Cray” or “Kray” really means (see picture below or go to this link -> http://twitpic.com/79xhmn/full). So here’s my take on it. In the song Jay says, “Ball so hard muhf***as wanna fine me,” and that’s what is used as the hook throughout the song. So he doesn’t say find throughout the entire song. Jay does say “Ball so hard muhf***as wanna fine me, but first n****s gotta find me.” If you’re linking it to the hook, it is the word fine. Now my question is where did this Kray speculation come from? Did it come from Jay and or Ye’s mouth? Did it come from a producer or someone in the studio? Is the source from someone who recorded them behind the scenes? I’m not knocking this little history lesson that we just got about the Kray Brothers but is it even true? Everyone is entitled to their own interpretation when it comes to music, that’s why we have music theory but again is it true? I just bring this up to say you can’t believe everything you hear or see. It doesn’t hurt to do a little bit of research. If this meaning of “Kray” is true then it is definitely deep. If it’s not it’s still deep cause someone actually looked at it in that way. I still think it means crazy and I have definitely caught on to using the word “Cray” more often. That is all.

Solo Dolo...in the City Of Angels
So I'm finally back on my own once again. It's been a little over 2 1/2 years since I touched down in LA and it's been a great learning experience. It feels like I've been out here longer, but I know I still have a lot to learn, a lot to see and a lot to live for.
I lived by myself my senior year of college and it was great. I had my own lair to do whatever I wanted to do. I could wake up to music, I could workout wherever, I could wash clothes whenever. At times it got lonely not having another person in your area but school was like my first home so it didn't make it that bad.
I kind of have the same feeling in my current apartment. I work so much that this is really more of sleeping quarters for me than a place to live. On a serious note I feel a little bit more alienated here then back at home in Indiana. Back at home I had close friends I could call up at anytime and link up with in a matter of minutes. Out here I still have a social struggle, part of that problem is work the other part is me. I still haven't branched out as much I would like to but, I am working on it.
I will admit where I was two years ago (socially) is a heck of a lot better now, but I just need to push myself to go out more. Going out more doesn't mean I have to spend the mulla all the time either. I keep telling myself that, but I look at gas prices, hahaha and they're not helping. All jokes a side I realize that I'm not in school anymore and that meeting people won't be as easy as it was by going to a class and finding people who share the same interest or going to a campus event that was going on while I was there.
So as I enjoy my new place making it my own, I will have to try to socialize more, with no roommates to help, but on my own.

Look Down
Look down people, look down.
Look down towards the ground and never look around.
Look down at your twitpics, look down at your tweets.
Look down at your facebook while looking at your feet.
Look down people, look down.
Look down towards the ground and never look around.
Look down at that email while in your car.
Look down at a stop light and forget where you are.
Look down at a text to stay in the know.
Look down while you're walking bumping into people at a store.
Look down people, look down.
Look down towards the ground and never look around.
Looking down can put you down.
Looking down is a distraction around town.
They say it takes a lot of muscles to create a frown.
I think it takes a lot of muscles to keep your neck down.
I know these are new times, times when we change,
but I like to look up like back in the day.
When we used to see each others faces and ask how you're doing?
When we used to speak and network and ask did you see that movie?
I'm not saying its bad to look down, not trying to spin this in a negative tone,
but I am saying you should look around cause opportunity may not be on a phone.
It may not be a tweet or a facebook post,
but it could be a random person in passing that could help you out the most.

"If you don't fail, you're not even trying...Remember to Fall Forward not backwards"
This was great and motivational. Denzel Washington spoke at Penn for the 2011 Commencement. I could tell Denzel wrote/spoke from his heart. He made great points and I follow this motto.

2 Year Anniversary
Today marks my two year anniversary out here in Los Angeles. I came out here with two suitcases and a computer bag (inside that bag was a PC AKA my college Dell). I am blessed to come this far still looking to move forward in the film industry. As I begin my Junior year out here I’m looking to transition out of being a Prod. Asst. (PA) and go into the creative side.
My main goal is to shoot something this year I don’t care if its on a point and shoot as long I can keep my creative side flowing. I would like to thank all of those who have helped me to get where I am today. I will continue to grow and learn while I’m out here cause I still have a lot of work to accomplish.

What if...
Even though I came out to California to avoid the question “What If…?” I still end up having the question “What if…?"

Quote From CE
"In order for there to be progression there must be an action. In order for there to be an action there must be an idea. In order for there to be an idea there must be uniqueness. In order for there to be uniqueness there must be a soul. If you have a soul you can progress to do anything."-CE

2010 Project Recap
So it just occurred to me that I didn't list the projects I did for 2010. So I'm just gonna go ahead and do a list of them instead of search for the vids for all of them.

New Edit...WIMH Calliko Freestyle
On the angle where he looks at the camera I had to bump it up to 150% in size which isnt the best thing to do for video but it worked in this case. In order to make the HD video fit the 4:3 ratio I added the crop tool for left and right and vuala!
I usually don't explain my process when editing but I decided to give you guys a BTS on how I put this short edit together. Enjoy!
Again if you haven't seen or been to the blog and you're into hip hop YOU HAVE to check http://whatsinmyheadphones.com
